The Upper School theatre department will present a night of student-directed one-act plays on Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in the Louise Owens Theater.
The two plays that will be performed are Cheating Death and Imperfect Proposal.
Cheating Death: When the Angel of Death visits a mental hospital to collect someone on his list, he accidentally reveals himself to the wrong person. Now the patients refuse to give up their friend’s true identity, even after Death insists that the consequences could be disastrous. An intriguing comedy filled with wit and humor!
Imperfect Proposal: Ben has invited his girlfriend to a romantic picnic in the park to pop the question, but as soon as she arrives, his hopes of happily ever after are dashed as anything that could possibly go wrong does! This fast-paced comedy is full of dynamic characters, amusing stage action, and non-stop laughs.
Both shows are directed by seniors Alex Eaton and Jolie Gaston.
Admission is free.
