Five Whitefield varsity cross country runners competed as a relay team in the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, AL on February 9. The team was made up of runners Zachary Justice, Sean Morris, Colson Gullege, and Jordan Johnson, all seniors, and junior Devin Wade. They ran the race in just under 2 hours and 47 minutes, placing 2nd among 167 relay teams in the competition. The runners, including junior Lee Wickham who was unable to compete due to an illness, also raised nearly $1,000 to support The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs. Great job, WolfPack!
