Last week the WolfPack had a blend of the completion of our winter sports season along with the official first games of many of our spring athletic teams. Early in the week, our varsity boys basketball team earned a 76-59 victory over Fellowship Christian in the region tournament while our varsity soccer teams competed in their first official games of their seasons on Tuesday against Paideia and Pinecrest. JV tennis began competitions at home on Wednesday, with girls earning a win over Campbell. The week ended with some great varsity soccer and baseball games. The highlight of the week though came on the flats of Georgia Tech Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as seven members of our swim and dive team competed in the GHSA state championships! Please make sure to congratulate these ladies on an incredible finish to a wonderful season for them. As you can tell, it was a full and exciting week for the Pack; be sure to check out all the recaps below for more details!
In the week ahead our spring athletic calendar will continue to gain momentum as Middle School soccer, varsity tennis, varsity lacrosse, and varsity track all begin competing. Our varsity boys basketball team made it into the state playoffs for the 18th year in a row and will play this Friday in the first round of the playoffs (opponent to be determined soon). Be sure to come support them as they look for a big first round win on the road! You can click here for the full athletic calendar or click here to find the calendar of a specific team. Be sure to put on your blue and gold and join us as we cheer on the Pack this week!
Go WolfPack!
