Last week we enjoyed cheering for our Middle School and JV soccer and lacrosse teams as they won over Fellowship, Paideia, Kings Ridge and Mount Paran, which amounted to seven victories throughout the week. Our varsity girls tennis and soccer teams also claimed victories over Mount Paran last week while our varsity boys baseball, lacrosse, and soccer teams have continued to build strong records.

One of my favorite moments of the week came from our track and field team. As a community service project, the team became a part of the “Adopt-a-Mile” program on Whitefield’s behalf. They spent time after school on Friday cleaning up some of our nearby streets, including sections of Pebblebrook and Buckner roads. This is one of many community service projects that have taken place this season; others have included collecting cleats for children who wouldn’t be able to afford them and spending time serving at Atlanta Youth Academy. It’s been great to see our student athletes step up to share the love of Christ in practical ways with our community.

All of the teams competing this season are recognized in our Spring Athletic Program. If you haven’t had the opportunity to pick one of these up, stop by the Athletic Center soon to get one!

On Saturday, Whitefield welcomed coaches from a variety of schools to campus for a conference on intentionally establishing team cultures. With more than 50 coaches in attendance and guest speakers from Focus 3, it was a great day to focus on how we lead our teams to reach their goals.

You can find the WolfPack’s schedule for this week here. Join us to back the Pack soon!

Go WolfPack!
