Whitefield's own Chief Plumb arranged for the PreK4 classes to visit the Smyrna Police Station on March 24. The students had a chance to sit in the back and front of a police car, meet Officer McGruff (the police safety dog), learn about stranger danger, and explore the role of a police officer. The students also passed out treats to the employees at the station.
After their visit, the classes enjoyed a picnic lunch at Taylor-Brawner Park.
