Congratulations to Emily Little who won the individual girls state championship at the Middle School cross-country state championship this past weekend. Emily clocked a low 12:45 on the difficult course, pushing herself and sprinting uphill for the final 600m of the race. Hundreds of fans cheered the runners on in this tightly contested race where there was only 11 seconds difference between Emily’s first place finish and the fourth place finish. Lovett's Sydney Lamberson for came in second place six seconds behind Emily.
