Tuesday, March 24, was a great day for the WolfPack. Here's a list of wins from the day:

Varsity Girls Golf Team Wins Against Rival St. Francis

The varsity girls golf team, composed of Madison Barnett, Anna Kate Peterson, Molly Langella, and Annabelle Herschend, logged it's first win of the season against rival St. Francis today at Dogwood Country Club. The final score for the top two players from each team was 111-113 bringing the WolfPack's record to 1-1. Next Tuesday we'll be at the Trophy Club in Alpharetta facing St. Francis once again. Thanks to all the parents who have come out to support the team!

Blended JV/MS Baseball Team Takes The Win

The Pack showed its depth against Holy Spirit for the win, 13-6. Against a blended MS/JV baseball team, the Pack cranked out 16 total hits led by Parker McKinney (8th) with three, Luke McLemore (8th) with two, West Peterson (8th) with two, and Louis Brogan (7th) with two. Conner Koenig (7th) had a solid rip to right field and a walk for two great at-bats. Defensively, Cole Peterson (7th), Luke Peterson (8th), and Wesley Mitchell (7th) made all the key plays in the field. Will Thomas (7th) also had his debut behind the plate with great form and poise. On the bump, it was a smorgasbord of unique talent. Given the monster schedule ahead, the coaches decided to turn each inning into a pitcher's showcase going six pitchers deep on the bump. Our control is on point and walks-allowed is staggeringly low. Russell Bell (8th) had his career Pack debut. Great TEAM win Pack!

Varsity Boys Tennis Team Wins Match Against Fellowship Christian

The varsity boys were on fire against rival Fellowship Christian. Playing lines 1 and 2 singles , respectively, senior Justin Samples won handily 6-2, 6-0, as did senior Rubin Thomas, dominating but with closer scores of 6-3, 6-4. Our boys clinched the win with Line 1 doubles team of Alex Forsbrand and Will Schultz winning solidly 6-3, 6-2. The line 2 doubles duo of Patrick Spellissy and Holden Hosch gave a well fought battle which ended in a tough loss in a nail biting tie breaker (5-7, 6-4, 2-10).

Middle School Girls Soccer Team Shuts Out North Cobb

The girls were happy to be on their own turf on Tuesday as they took on North Cobb Christian in another league battle. The Pack came out a little slow but captain Claire Browne provided a little spark with a beautiful goal in the first few minutes of the match. Whitefield maintained possession of the ball for most of the first half but couldn’t score again despite several shots on goal. Kaylie Williams had several saves in goal and continues to improve in her new role. In the second half the Pack added two additional goals, Anna Grace Kwon with one and Katarina Kelly with the other. The consistent defense sealed the deal for the Pack, with Emmy Pridgeon, Mady Kendrick, Caroline Browne, and Anna Cykoksi working as leaders in the backfield. The Pack will play again at home on Thursday at 4 p.m. Come out and support the Pack!
