Under a near-summer sun, the varsity girls golf team shined just as brightly, earning a coveted slot to the state finals. Madison Barnett shot a 76, the second lowest score overall. Audrey Garrett shot a personal record 110, and Ali Matthews completed the challenging course in fantastic form as well. All of the girls will compete in the state finals at Goshen Plantation Golf Club in Augusta on May 19.
