The Cobb County Touchdown Club honored two Whitefield football players and one Whitefield parent at its 2013 banquet last night. Sky Dupree (11th) was named to the first All-County team as linebacker and David Lemasters (12th) was selected as All County Scholar Athlete. Tina Manning was recognized as Volunteer of the Year.
The Touchdown Club honors outstanding athletes across the county throughout the season, picking both offensive and defensive Players of the Week. The year-end banquet recognizes the best players of the entire season. Last night's banquet, which was originally scheduled in January, was postponed twice due to the ice and snow.
