The WolfPack varsity softball team defeated Pace Academy 7 - 6 in a thrilling game settled in the international tie-breaker 8th inning. Tied at 4 with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Alexis Allen singled to drive in Gabby Pinson. With 2 outs, Janie Hampel doubled to deep centerfield driving in the 2nd run and Jordan Jones followed with an RBI single to complete the scoring. Other offensive contributors were Hannah Perkins 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's, Shelby Davidson 1-for-4 with an RBI, Hannah Brown 2-for-4 with a double off the centerfield wall, Sydney Burke 1-for-4 with 3 runs scored and Alexis Allen 2-for-2 with an RBI and 2 important sacrifice bunts.
