It was a busy day for PreK and kindergarten students as they enjoyed an amazing performance by puppeteer Lee Bryan, "That Puppet Guy," and then activities centered around the letters K and Q.
Bryan, "That Puppet Guy," entertained everyone with clever versions of Aesop’s Fables, including The Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Later, the students were given visual demonstrations of quilting from Whitefield grandparent Kathy Unverzagt and karate from Whitefield parent and Kathy’s black-belt-holding daughter, Ashley Buero, to celebrate the letters K and Q.
