The WolfPack had an outstanding week of competition last week, earning nine victories! Two victories came from our PackBackers spirit spotlight game, where fans received volleyball-themed keychains while cheering the JV and varsity volleyball teams to wins over Pebblebrook.
On Friday our senior football players, cheerleaders, and marching band drum major traveled to the 104.7 The Fish studio to represent Whitefield as we were the Friday Night Football team of the week! That night we enjoyed cheering on the varsity football team alongside our Lower School students for Lower School night with 104.7 The Fish as our guest! The varsity boys played a great game, ultimately earning a 20–6 win over Pinecrest.
Other victories from the week included wins by the 5th/6th grade and JV football teams, varsity softball team, and Middle School volleyball teams. You can find recaps from these games and more by clicking “show more” below!
The week ahead is Spirit Week for the WolfPack! We’re excited for Middle and Upper School students to participate in dress-up days to show their school spirit. On Friday we’ll be finishing the school day with a pep rally, then celebrating with homecoming festivities at the football game as we welcome alumni back, enjoy the homecoming parade and crowning of Miss Whitefield, and experience a great performance by our WolfPack marching band at half time. We’re excited for all of these festivities and looking forward to cheering on our varsity football team as they aim for their third win in a row, taking on St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. Put on your blue and gold and come and join us in backing the WolfPack at Homecoming 2018!
This week also includes 10 additional home competitions and nine competitions away. For the full athletic calendar, click here. Come cheer on the WolfPack soon and join us in working to reflect the love us Christ to our teammates, competitors, and other fans while we strive to honor God with the abilities with which He’s blessed us!
