Last week held many great moments for WolfPack athletics!
On Tuesday we arrived to decorations on the front of the Upper School building in support of our varsity soccer teams. The TVs in the Middle and Upper School lobbies featured hype videos for our lacrosse team throughout the week, and Lower School families received a baseball with an invitation to an upcoming game during carpool. On Wednesday, track team members attended Milage Club to cheer on some of our WolfPup runners, while our golf teams led a hole-in-one challenge on the Quad, where winners took home a Chick-fil-A gift card and everyone who participated received a golf-ball stress ball. On Friday, we arrived to a banner on the front of the Upper School building promoting a track and field meet the following day, and we also found posters inviting us to enjoy free King of Pops popsicles at the tennis match on tomorrow.
We enjoyed celebrating WolfPack athletics this week and hope it served as an encouragement to our many student athletes as well as to our Whitefield community - come support our school on the field, track, and court this season!
The WolfPack competed in 26 athletic events last week. Notable moments included three victories for our JV and varsity girls tennis teams and tight games and victories for varsity girls and boys soccer over Providence Christian. You can find recaps from many of our other games below.
The Athletic Department also recently shared an update on coaching changes that will occur in the 2017-2018 school year. Read about it here.
