The Whitefield orchestra is looking forward to an amazing year under the direction of new orchestra teacher Mrs. Emily East. The students are currently working on pieces which will be performed at the Flavors of Fall and Cookies and Carols concerts this semester, while also preparing for their first-ever competitions at the Georgia All-State auditions and the Georgia Heritage Festival in the spring.
The bar has been raised, and these incredible students are now performing collegiate-level pieces, which will help serve them and praise the Lord in their future endeavors. The orchestra is also looking forward to performing at Medieval Times and the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. With such a diverse and excited group of students, it is a great time to be in the Whitefield orchestra!
