Whitefield alumnus Everett Joiner ('13) was one of three members of the Wings of Blue United States Air Force Parachute Team to parachute from the Goodyear blimp into ESPN's College GameDay on Saturday, September 10, before the University of Tennessee vs. Virginia Tech game at Bristol Motor Speedway. Everett, a senior at the Air Force Academy, parachuted to the ground with the game ball and delivered it to the ESPN broadcasters.
