Whitefield is excited to announce the following additions to the WolfPack staff for the 2016-2017 school year:
Marsha Burke - Director of Enrollment Management
Before taking on this position, Burke served on the Whitefield Academy board of trustees for six years and was a member of the WellStar Health System leadership team for 16 years, serving in a variety of roles, including director of strategic planning, CFO, and interim CEO. She obtained a B.S. and M.S. in accounting from Florida State University and is a certified public accountant.
Addie Cochran - Assistant to the Upper School Principal
Before arriving at Whitefield, Cochran earned her B.A. in marketing from Auburn University at Montgomery and gained experience as an office manager for a roofing company, a traffic manager for a large publishing company, and an account assistant for an advertising agency.
Jill Langella - College and Career Counselor
Before arriving at Whitefield, Langella gained five years of experience in banking and worked as a life and career counselor for eight years. She holds a B.S. in financial management from Clemson University as well as an M.Ed. in counseling with a concentration in student development in higher education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Jonathan McClellan - Head of Strength and Conditioning
McClellan began working with Whitefield's strength and conditioning program in 2014. In 2016, he officially joined the Whitefield staff as the full-time head of strength and conditioning, bringing 10 years of experience as a personal trainer to the position. "Coach Mac" received a B.A. in psychology from Covenant College, where he also gained a personal understanding of the hard work and dedication that is required of athletes as a member of the basketball team.
Cherita Neal - Gift Management Officer
Before arriving at Whitefield, Neal worked for two years at the engineering firm of Browder + Leguizamon as the administrative assistant/office manager, at Harvester Child Development Center as a lead teacher for four years, and at Georgia PreK for one year. Most recently, she served at Cumberland Christian Academy as the middle school and lower school administrative assistant for five years.
Caroline Patillo ('05) - Advancement Office Manager

Katie Tuck - Internal Communications Director
Tuck joins Whitefield from Westminster Schools of Augusta, where she served as the director of marketing and communications for four years. Prior to this, she worked as alumni networks and groups coordinator for the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and the marketing and business development director at National Science Center, Inc. Tuck holds a Bachelor of Science in management with concentrations in marketing and finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Katy Weihe - Counselor
Weihe obtained a B.A. in psychology from Purdue University and a M.A. in social work from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Before arriving at Whitefield, she gained more than 10 years of experience in a variety of counseling roles at organizations including the Adult and Child Mental Health Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Lenawee Intermediate School District in Adrienne, Michigan, and in private practice.
