The WolfPack varsity lacrosse team ventured to Creekview High School, at the northern boundary of Atlanta-area lacrosse, to face down the Grizzlies. The WolfPack won the contest winning 10-6, in warm weather more akin to the coast than the Kodiak. The Grizzlies struck quickly at the start of the game with face off wins and poor Pack passing to grab an early 3-1 lead. The Pack reformed in the second quarter and went on a 9-0 run before giving up three late fourth quarter goals.
The Pack attack was led by Jonathan Wood (10th) with four goals, David Ballew (12th) with three, William Charles (11th) with two, and Marcus Jones (12th) with one. David had the giving hand with four assists, while William followed with two.
The aggressive defense was led by groundball retrieval by Sky DuPree (12th) with seven, Brenner McCutcheon (10th) with six, and Connor Callan (10th) with five. William, Jonathan, Carter Dixon (10th) and Wills McCutcheon (9th) each had two, while Marcus, David, Mitchell Ryan (10th), Carson Brown (10th), Jack Fitzgerald (10th), and Thomas Joiner (9th), each grabbed one. Marcus and Thomas also each won four face-offs to round out the loose ball play.
