The varsity girls golf team elevated both their play and their season record yesterday against St. Francis by turning a winning scorecard of 97-111 at the Trophy Club of Atlanta. Junior Madison Barnett led the team with a one-over par 37 with a tap-in birdie on the final hole. Anna Kate Peterson recorded a season-low 60 and freshmen Molly Langella and Annabelle Herschend both came in with sub-70's.
Two regular season matches remain before the regional competition at Pinetree Country Club on April 21 (please mark your calendars and come out to cheer on the team!). The WolfPack travels to Horseshoe Bend Golf Course, next Tuesday, April 7 for a rematch against Mt. Pisgah.
