JV Baseball Team Beats Fellowship Christian
The JV baseball team traveled to LakePoint Sports Park in Emerson and beat the Fellowship Christian Paladins on Saturday afternoon, March 21.
The Pack held on to beat the Paladins, 6-4 after Fellowship jumped out to a three-run lead in the first two innings. The Pack tied the game in the bottom of the second on a two RBI double by freshman Jake Lewis (2-2 2 RBI) who later scored after stealing third and scoring on a passed ball. Whitefield scored three more runs to take the lead for good in the third inning with an RBI from junior Jake Gilbert (1-2 1 RBI), junior Will Brogan (2-2 1 RBI) and Coleman Miller (9th).
Jake Gilbert was the starting pitcher (4 IP, 2 ER, 2 K); and freshmen Alex Carver (2 IP 1 ER 3 K) and Casey Bowman (2 IP 0 ER 1 K) finished the game holding Fellowship to one run in the last four innings.
Middle School Lacrosse Team Wins Decisively Over McEachern
The Middle School lacrosse team worked together for a 17-2 win over McEachern this past Saturday, March 21.
