The Varsity girls soccer team enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon on their home turf on Saturday, March 16, celebrating a 5-1 win over Pacelli Catholic from Columbus. The Lady WolfPack dominated play the entire game, keeping the ball on offense most of the time. After letting a goal slip by 22 minutes into the game, Mary Kendrick (10th) fed a ball to Caitlin Hesse (12th) with 7 minutes left in the first half to tie the game 1-1. The girls came out fired up for the second half. One minute after play started, Caitlin scored her second goal with Frances Hamilton (11th) getting the assist. Two minutes later, Logan Pearce (9th) scored with Mary assisting. At the 20 minute mark, the ball was deflected several times when Frances stepped up and scored the 4th goal. Caitlin took the ball down field and scored unassisted for the 5th goal, a hat trick for her. Overall a great effort by the team! GO PACK!
