The Middle School lacrosse team kicked off its season on Saturday, February 9, with two league wins. On Saturday morning, the team secured a win against Inman Middle School 15-1, and followed it up with a 16-2 win over Kennesaw Mountain in the afternoon. It was a true team effort with strong play coming from the entire team. Jonathan Wood (8th) led the way with a total of 11 goals and 3 assists in the two games, followed by Brad Becker (7th) with 8 goals, and Sid Brendel (8th) with 6 goals and 3 assists. Eighth grader Sam Hamilton (3 goals), seventh grader Jack Charles (1 goal, 1 assist), seventh grader Rhett Haverty (1 goal), eighth grader Carter Dixon (2 assists), and eighth grader Carson Brown (1 goal) also tallied points for Whitefield. The Middle School team will be back in action at home on Saturday, February 23 against Marist (10 a.m.) and St. Pius (1 p.m.). Come support the Pack!
