After dining at delicious restaurants across Atlanta, Whitefield juniors and seniors strolled into the beautifully decorated Imperial Ballroom at the Biltmore Hotel for Once Upon a Time: A Masquerade Ball, the Junior-Senior Prom.
Tables full of masks awaited them, echoing the masquerade theme for the night, and students wore them during the evening before taking them home as souvenirs.
Disc jockey Haron Mintz provided the entertainment with a variety of music for dancing. His engaging and outgoing personality helped set the tone for a special evening; students enjoyed hours of dancing
and simply hanging out with one another.
When not on the dance floor, the juniors and seniors had a smorgasbord of snacks to choose from including frozen yogurt from Yoforia with a variety of toppings, bite-sized brownies and cinnamon rolls, cookies, fruit salad, and punch.
“A-photo booth with fun props was set up in the ballroom and everyone was able to get a strip of pictures of themselves with their dates and friends to commemorate the evening,’ said Stephanie Moseley, Special Projects and Events Coordinator.
Special thanks to the juniors on the prom committee who worked many hours to make the evening a success: Kathyrn Grace Faulk, Kristen Fikse, Megan Fikse, Ryann Farmer, , and William Bell.
