Seventh and eighth-graders walked the red carpet dressed to the nines at the Middle School dance held on Saturday, March 22 in the Barnett Gathering Room. The Hollywood-themed dance included a live DJ, VIP passes, a swing dance competition, and a delicious array of desserts and snacks.
“The dance was a huge success,” said Robin Sjoblom, the Whitefield mom who coordinated the event
with a team of parent volunteers. “The DJ rocked the house with well-known hits and the students danced all night long.”
Whitefield dad Brent Rivers and his family took photo booth style pictures complete with a Hollywood backdrop, props and frames. Sage Catering added to the fun with a chocolate fountain and popcorn bar as well as a three-foot golden Oscar made out of Rice Krispie treats and white chocolate.
