PreK4 and kindergarten students enjoyed a performance by Lee Bryan, aka “That Puppet Guy” today in the Lower School Student Activity Center. Lee performed his show, "Travelin Tales," sharing three different folktales from India, North America, and China. The stories had an anti-bullying theme and also taught about honesty, cooperation, and the fact that "bigger isn't better."
"Mr. Bryan not only involved the audience in his show, he took the time to explain and demonstrate how his puppets were made and how they move," said Rainey Perry, PreK4 teacher. "Shawn Hamler, CJ
Jordan, and Brynn Eckerson were all chosen from the audience to demonstrate the puppets. Everyone enjoyed the show!"
Bryan is a nationally recognized touring artist who combines live vocal characterizations and songs with innovative puppet designs. He uses rod puppets, shadow puppets, and beautifully hand-crafted animal masks in his shows.
