The varsity girls soccer team had a winning week, defeating area rival Walker at home, 3-1, and prevailing over AIS on their turf, 5-2.
In the Walker game, Frances Hamilton (11th) had a hat trick, scoring on two assists from Caitlin Hesse (12th). Solid defense and goalie Emma Wright (11th) held the Wolverines to one goal late in the game.
Frances was on fire again in the AIS game, scoring two goals with assists from Caitlin Hesse (12th). Caitlin also scored a goal and Logan Pearce (9th) had a goal with an assist by Sophie Kemether (11th). Hanna Grace Miller (10th) swept in and scored as well. AIS was able to avert a shutout scoring 2 goals in the last few minutes after the contest had been decided.
The girls continue in area play on Monday, March 25, at home vs. Darlington. Come out and support the Lady WolfPack - game time is 5:30 p.m.
