In one of its last regular season matches, the varsity volleyball team beat AAAAA Berkmar High School, 25-10 and 25-15.
In game one, the Pack powered out to a 12-3 lead on the strength of service rallies by Gracie Babcock and Fantasia Remonvil. Whitefield pulled away to lead by as many as 17 points at 22-5 and took the first game 25-10. In the second game Anna Moore reeled off seven straight serves to give the Pack an 8-0 lead. The Patriots clawed their way back to within one point at 12-11, when Kelsey Butler came on to serve and gave Whitefield four straight points. Berkmar never threatened again, and Whitefield took the game 25-15, thus taking the match.
Gracie Babcock and Kelsey Butler led the way on offense with three service aces each, followed by Anna Moore with two and Morgan Landers and Fantasia Remonvil with one ace each. At the net, Gracie Babcock blasted seven blistering kills. Anna Long and Kelsey Butler had five kills each and Christal Dewberry had two. Anna Moore continued her solid work on offense with 12 assists. Emma Nash also had two assists. On defense at the net, Anna Long put up two blocks. Christal Dewberry had a block and Gracie Babcock and Emma Nash had a half block each. Everyone contributed on the back line defense led by Morgan Landers with nine digs, followed by Gracie Babcock with six digs.
