Mayor Max Bacon of Smyrna presented the Mayor’s Education Award to kindergarten teacher Kerri Bounds, senior Savannah Ballew, and parent volunteer Jill Langella at a December city council meeting. Each semester, the council recognizes faculty and students for their outstanding academic excellence and dedicated service.
