The varsity swim team had a great opening meet on November 15 against Lovett and Holy Innocents'. Congratulations to Naomy Grand'Pierre (10th) for receiving a state cut in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly! Newcomers to the team, Ali Matthews (11th) and Elizabeth Weaver (9th), were instrumental in the great showing as well. Teammates Holt Merkle (12th), Carter Fiveash (12th), Jake Fikse (10th), and Sarah Marriott (11th) added to the success of the team. Jake and Naomy both placed first in the 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley, respectively.
Middle School and varsity swim teams also had a strong showing on November 19 against Paideia. For the Middle School team, Audree Grand'Pierre (8th) finished first in the girls 100-yard backstroke. On the varsity team, Naomy Grand'Pierre (10th) received two more state cuts in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
