This year was an amazing time for WolfPack athletics as our student-athletes worked hard, played hard, and honored Him.

2018-19 Athletic Highlights
The varsity boys cross country and soccer team placed 2nd in the State this year.
Four Whitefield student-athletes signed to play at the collegiate level next year.

The varsity lacrosse team captured the school's first ever region championship this spring.
The Middle School girls track and field team won the Metro 10 Championship.
Whitefield varsity cross country and track runners Zachary Justice, Sean Morris, Colson Gullege, Jordan Johnson, Devin Wade, and Lee Wickam competed as a relay team in the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, AL in February. The also raised almost $1,000 to support the Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs.
Sophomore Avery Fassnacht placed 7th in diving at State and senior Emilie Grand’Pierre placed 13th in the 100 Fly and 6th in the 100 Breast at State. The 400 Free Relay team, that included Amanda King (ninth), Sarah Figaretti (ninth), Isabel deAntonio (11th) and Emilie Grand’Pierre (12th), finished 8th at State.
The Middle School blue basketball team won the Metro 10 Championship.
Cross country runner Devin Wade placed 2nd overall in the State finals.
The fifth- and sixth-grade football team raised more than $1,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and a grant matched the contribution to make it more than $2,000.
WolfPack Beyond Whitefield
Rachid Bilotti ('18) and his Gordon College soccer team won the Commonwealth Coast Conference Soccer Championship.
Lauren Burke ('17) was named the Sun Belt’s Defensive Player of the Week in August 2018. She is the goalkeeper for Appalachian State women’s soccer team.
Naomy Grand’Pierre ('15) won Haiti’s first gold medal at the Central American and Caribbean Countries Championships in Aruba in the 50-meter breaststroke in swimming with a time of 36.28.
Everett Pollard ('14), quarterback for Taylor University, was ranked No. 1 all-time in program history with 60 passing touchdowns, No. 2 with 551 completions, No. 2 with a .592 completion percentage, and No. 3 with 6,185 passing yards.
