Last week the WolfPack brought home six victories, earning wins in tennis, soccer, and baseball! Highlights included our varsity boys soccer team shutting out Mount Pisgah in an 8-0 win at home, both JV tennis teams winning over North Cobb Christian, and a varsity baseball victory over Druid Hills High School to start the official baseball season! You can find recaps from these events and more below.

A huge congratulations goes out to freshman Juanes Henao who was selected this past week to wrestle in the GHSA State Championships over the weekend in Macon, Georgia. He is our first wrestler to make it to state in over five years. Juanes has a bright future ahead for many years to come with the WolfPack!

I am also excited to share that we have a new name for the recently-opened dining expansion in our athletic center! This space will be called the WolfPack Den. As leadership at Whitefield began looking for a permanent name for this space, we considered how this area would be used: a space to have meals together, another location to cheer on the Pack, and a space that will provide opportunities for the Whitefield WolfPack to get together and continue to build community. The WolfPack Den quickly became a clear choice for the name of this space, and we’re looking forward to how it will continue to give us an additional location to be together and make great memories for years to come!

As we return after a long weekend, we’re ready to jump into 14 athletic events, including lacrosse, baseball, soccer, and tennis! Athletes on all levels will be working hard against teams including Mount Pisgah, Holy Innocents, and Providence Christian. You can click here for our full athletic schedule. Be sure to join us on the sidelines as we cheer on the WolfPack and continue to see the hard work they’ve been putting into practices come to life in the game.

Go WolfPack!
