Last week the WolfPack earned victories against St. Francis, Mt. Vernon, and Kings Ridge, including a Friday night varsity football win over Kings Ridge, 20–3. We loved cheering on Whitefield football, volleyball, softball, and cross-country teams! You can find more details from all WolfPack competitions from last week below.

This week the PackBackers Spirit Coordinators would like to share that the spirit spotlight is on our varsity cross-country team. This team has worked incredibly hard to have such a promising start to the season, and we’re proud of their dedication and commitment. Coming up this weekend, we are looking forward to a fast race in Douglasville that has potential for many personal records. On the boys’ side, Devin Wade, Zachary Justice, and Sean Morris lead by example in how they train, compete, and encourage the team. They are excited to return to one of their favorite meets. On the girls’ side, Annie Edwards and Avery Fassnacht have had some great races, and this weekend they are looking forward to competing together for the first time since August. We’re looking forward to cheering on this team on Saturday as they compete in the Asics Invitational at Foxhill Sporting Club. Be on the lookout for a video that highlights this team, which will be released later this week!

The Pack will also compete in 11 athletic events in the week ahead. On Friday we’ll welcome our Middle School fans to the varsity football game as we compete against Mount Paran and celebrate Middle School night! Click here for the full athletic calendar and be sure to join us soon to back the Pack!
