Welcome back, WolfPack!
I hope you each enjoyed restful breaks and opportunities to make great memories.
The Pack is about halfway through the spring athletic season. Recently, we celebrated an awesome performance by our varsity track team at the Pace Academy meet, where Whitefield ranked first overall. Field athletes claimed one of the top three spots in most events and claimed first in boys discus (Jalen Miller), girls triple jump (Katie Cella), girls long jump (Abigail Farrar), boys long jump (Bryce Davis), girls high jump (Sydney Hales), and boys high jump (Louis Brogan). Our track athletes also competed well, earning first in the boys 110 and 300 meter hurdles (Chip Goldsmith), girls 1600 (Emily Little), boys 400 (Nicholas Harris), girls 100 (Shelby Wingate), girls 200 (Mimi Little), girls and boys 4x100, and girls and boys 4x400. Congrats to all members of the varsity track team on a job well done and fighting through many challenges! We’re looking forward to continuing to cheer you on!
Additionally, we’ve enjoyed cheering for varsity boys and girls soccer victories over Kings Ridge and North Cobb Christian and a varsity baseball win over Mount Pisgah! Learn more about these events and others in the recaps below.
We’re looking forward to many more great opportunities to cheer for tennis, soccer, baseball, track, lacrosse, and golf teams this spring! Click here to find schedules for specific teams, and click here for our full athletic calendar.
Be sure to stop by the main concession stand or Athletic Center soon to pick up a copy of our spring athletic program, “The PawPrint,” which features each of our spring athletic teams and sponsors!
