Middle School English teacher Hayley Davis is now a published author! Her vignette, “My Mother,” was published in the November 18 issue of Vine Leaves Literary Journal, an online and print publication based in Australia.
"The inspiration for the piece was my mother," said Mrs. Davis. "I was at home this summer thinking about my mom and all the things I love about her; I started jotting things down and it turned into this. I submitted it in July without much hope of publication. As it turns out, they accepted it last month!"
