On April 30, 12 members of the Whitefield AP Computer Science class attended the annual AP Bowl held at Georgia Tech. The competition, which involves taking a test similar to the multiple choice portion of the AP Computer Science exam, drew a field of 162 students from metro-Atlanta high schools.
For the second straight year, a Whitefield student finished in first place. Sophomore Donovan Pearce was the only student to earn a perfect score as he correctly answered all 40 questions on the exam. Caleb Corliss, Sarah Davis, and Dani Streever each scored 37/40 to finish in a tie for fourth place.
