I hope you all had a relaxing Easter break highlighted with the opportunity to meditate on our Savior’s sacrifice and love!



Last week held victories for our soccer, lacrosse, and baseball teams. You can stay up-to-date on recent WolfPack results through the scoreboard section on the athletics page of our website and through the WolfPack Twitter account. Recaps from the week are also available below!



Be sure to join us tonight as we celebrate our senior athletes involved in spring sports between the varsity girls and boys soccer games. These games are sure to be exciting, as our undefeated varsity boys team will be battling the also undefeated Walker team to earn the #1 seed spot heading into the state tournament. Varsity Tennis

vs. Walker: Boys Loss 1-4; Girls Loss 1-4

*Will Thomas won at 3 Singles (1-6, 6-4, 6-4)

*Hannah Morris won at 2 Singles (6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 10-8)



vs. Pinecrest Academy - Boy's Team - Region Play-in Match: Boys Win 3-2

*Christian Knox won at 1 Singles (via forfeit)

*Patrick Spellissy won at 2 Singles (6-0, 6-2)

*Will Thomas won at 3 Singles (6-0, 6-0)



Varsity Lacrosse

vs. Carrollton High School: Win 20-2

*Jonathan Wood and Jack Charles each scored 4 goals, with Thomas Joiner and Mitchell Ryan each scoring 3 goals

*Thomas Joiner had 9 ground balls

*Joseph Schwartz had 2 caused turnovers



vs. Kell: Loss 12-13

*Jonathan Wood scored 6 goals with 2 assists

*Mitchel Ryan scored 3 goals 2 assists

*Joseph Schwartz had 6 ground balls along with 2 caused turnovers



vs. Darlington: Win 14-2

*Goals scored by Jack Charles (6 goals), Carter Dixon (4 goals), Jonathan Wood (2 goals) and Jack Fitzgerald (2 goals)

*Joseph Schwartz had 6 ground balls

*Wills McCutcheon had 4 saves in goal

*The WolfPack won 18 out of 19 face-offs



Varsity Baseball

vs. Fellowship Christian (1 of 2 games): Win 6-4

*Jimmy McCarthy was 3-4 with 3 runs and a home run

*Ian Kennedy hit a 3-run home run in the 7th inning with 2 outs

*Carter Huffman was 2-4 with one RBI and a double



vs. Fellowship Christian (2 of 2 games): Tie 6-6

*Mason Jones was 2-3 with 1 RBI and 2 doubles

*Jimmy McCarthy was 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs

*Ian Kennedy was 1-4 with 1 RBI

*Sam Fuller struck out 13 batters over 6 innings



Middle School Baseball

vs. Eastside Christian: Tie 8-8

*Offense was led by Chandler Huffman, Eric Little, Tayvahr Wright, and Parker Ladd

*Eric Little had 3 stolen bases



vs. Campbell Middle School: Win 12-0

*Jake Petersen pitched a complete game shutout on 52 pitches, giving up only 2 hits while striking out 5 and walking none

*Whitefield defense was flawless, committing no errors and picking a runner off of second base

*Jake Petersen (2-3, RBI, 1 run) and Eric Little (2-2, RBI, 2 runs) led the WolfPack offensively.



vs. Kings Ridge: Loss 4-12

*Chase Watson was 2-3 with 2 runs and a stolen base

*Ethan Parker was 2-3

*Jake Petersen was 2-3 with a run



Boys Varsity Soccer

vs. Mount Pisgah: Win 10-0

*Goals scored by Chip Soud (3 goals), Josh Orr (2 goals), William Hellier (2 goals), West Peterson, Matthew Sumlin, and Henry Sanchez



Girls Varsity Soccer

vs. Mount Pisgah: Loss 0-2

*The entire team put forth a strong effort and had great teamwork



Girls Middle School Soccer

vs. Mount Pisgah: Win 3-0

*A'liyah Warrick scored three goals for a hat trick

*Assists by Lindsey Fry and superb defensive plays by Inessa Watson

*Shutout credit goes to Adiyah Thomas and Brooke Bergeron, while midfield was shut down thanks to Lindsey Fry and Joey Martin



vs. Kings Ridge: Win 4-0

*Goals by A'liyah Warrick, Kyla McCurdy, and 2 goals by Lindsey Fry

*Assists by Joey Martin and A'liyah Warrick

*Shutout credited to Adiyah Thomas and Brooke Bergeron

*Great defensive skill by Anna Burkett and Ellie Farrar, with Hannah Decabo and Danielle Trovato



Boys Middle School Soccer

vs. Mount Pisgah: Win 5-0

*Goals scored by Jack Krahel, Scott Hellier, Luke Wilson, Juanes Henao, and Malcolm Grant

*Assists by Scott Hellier, Luke Wilson, John Johnson, and Mason Jones

*Great defense by Jacob Blackburn and a clean sheet by Jack Valentine



vs. Kings Ridge: Win 3-1

*Goals scored by Luke Wilson (2 goals) and Joel McKinney

*John Johnson had a key assist while Matthew Kwon brought the defense

*A stellar midfield play from Micah Messner solidified the win



Boys Varsity Golf

vs. Campbell High School: Loss 195-166

*Jackson Williams had the WolfPack's lowest score with a 44



Middle School Golf

vs. Walker - Boy's Team: Loss 155-147



vs. Walker - Girl's Team: Loss 140-153



Co-Ed Middle School Track

Metro Atlanta MS Championship: Boys came in 2nd place and girls 3rd place.
