The Upper School experienced a full day of art during Arts Day on April 12.
The morning kicked off with a talk by local artist Kyle Brooks, who is widely known for his whimsical street art. He encouraged our students to explore their "weird" sides and think outside the box. Afterward, the juniors and seniors enjoyed an a capella performance by the Georgia Tech Glee Club, while the freshmen and sophomores watched a theatrical excerpt from the cast of Atlanta Lyric Theatre's "Jesus Christ Superstar."
During the afternoon, students rotated through three different artistic sessions of their choosing, with offerings such as collaborative painting, calligraphy, percussion, photography, cupcake decorating, and many more.
