A selection of artwork by Upper School art teacher Rebecca Brown is being featured in the Taylor-Brawner Park With Art, an art show sponsored by the City of Smyrna and The Taylor-Brawner House Foundation, Inc. This third-annual fine art exhibit and sale runs from October 7 through 16 at Smyrna’s historic Taylor-Brawner House. Click here for address and exhibit hours.
The popular art show has grown to include over two dozen of the region’s most talented and best-known painters, potters, carvers, wood turners, and weavers. Each piece displayed is for sale and is an original creation, jury selected for quality, beauty, and originality. As a bonus this year, many unframed paintings are being offered for sale. Part of the proceeds of the art sale will go to the Taylor-Brawner House Foundation, Inc.
This is the second year Mrs. Brown's work has been featured in the the show. Other featured artists include Dick Yarbrough, Marsha Hamby Savage, Shane McDonald, Ronnie Offen, B.J Hatcher, Ann Tewelow, Sonya Ingle, Virginia Dauth, Barbara Kincaid, Wanda Crane, Richard Herklotz and Susan Knight Smith.
