On September 1, the PreK4 class performed a color experiment in the science lab as part of the week's lesson on the letter "c."
"The students used little droppers to add vinegar mixed with food coloring to baking soda," said Mrs. Hawkins. "This of course turned the baking soda colors, and the baking soda bubbled! They loved it! Sally Fikse, our science teacher, had it all ready for us, and the PreK4 teachers and teacher assistants did the lesson. We all had fun!"
Prior to the lab, Mrs. Handley, our Lower School librarian, showed the children the YouTube video of the book "I Ain't Gonna Paint No More."
