Whitefield's varsity baseball team traveled to the state's eighth-ranked Fellowship Christian last week and left with a 10-9 victory behind the strong pitching of Matt Olson (9th).
Matt dominated the entire game and had a 10-4 lead going into the last inning, but Fellowship would not go down quietly. They mounted a comeback and managed to score five runs to make it a 10-9 game.
Max Kemether (11th) came in to relieve Matt with two outs and recorded the save. The hitting was led by David Lewis (11th) with two hits and the rest of the Pack all chipped in with one each. GO PACK!!
