The Atlanta Blaze lacrosse team, the newest Major League Lacrosse (MLL) team, has selected Whitefield Academy as their home practice field for their inaugural season.
The first Blaze practice was this past Friday night, April 22. The Whitefield Middle School players joined the Blaze on the field prior to the start of practice. The Blaze players seemed as delighted as the Middle School students to have a chance to meet Whitefield players, talk lacrosse, and shoot around a little.
The players were genuinely appreciative of the warm reception given to them by the Whitefield community. Whitefield looks forward to building a great relationship with the newest professional team in Atlanta and in the MLL. Blaze on!
