The Middle School boys soccer team took one step closer toward completing an undefeated regular season in league play with a 4-0 shutout win against Mt. Bethel. Four different players scored to secure the win. After a slow start, Luke Wilson (7th) put the Pack up 1 - 0 at halftime, finishing John Johnson’s (6th) perfect pass into space.
The Pack set the tone early in the second half with players bringing a punch off the bench. Congratulations to Alex Schulte (8th) for his first goal of the season. He finished the rebound created by Howard Allen (6th). After this goal the Pack established control and never looked back, dominating possession. Joe Ostolhoff (8th) added the third goal off assists from Joel McKinney (7th) and again from Howard (6th). The scoring was rounded out by Jason Dinschel (8th) who headed in Scott Hellier’s (7th) perfect cross.
Congratulations to the defense anchored by stellar play from Sam Ijiwoye (7th) and Justin Gachoya (7th) and another clean sheet from Walker Smith (8th) in the net. The Pack plays North Cobb Christian tonight and rounds out league play against Walker on Friday. Go Pack!
