The Middle School girls soccer team placed two more games in the win column by defeating both Pace Academy and Kings Ridge in back-to-back away games this week. On Tuesday, the WolfPack played tough, scoring three goals: two by Avery Fassnacht (7th) and one by Inessa Watson (7th). The defense held Pace girls at bay, and helped with the shutout, for a final score of 3-0.
On Wednesday, the WolfPack started off with Grayson Nour making a corner kick that was then finished off by Inessa, scoring on a cross rebound. Grayson (8th) also added a goal on the scoreboard with a long ball outside the box. A final third goal assisted by Sophia Megathlin (7th) and finished off by Anna Burkett (7th). The defense held off the Tigers, including saves by Caroline Browne (8th), Mady Kendrick (8th), and Sophia Trovato (8th) and goalkeeping by Adiyah Thomas (7th). Final score: 3-2. Way to go, WolfPack!
