Congratulations to fourth graders Sydney Nettles and Nate Jones who placed first and second, respectively, at the ACSI Spelling Bee held at Landmark Christian School on March 4, 2016. Third graders Marley Sanacory and Hunter Fennel also earned top spots, placing first and third, respectively in the third-grade competition. Sydney, Nate and Hunter are all repeat winners from previous years. For example, Hunter won the competition for his grade level in both 2014 and 2015.
Sixteen Lower School students participated in the competition; the sixteen were selected from each grade after earning the top spots in classroom spelling bees on campus. The ACSI area spelling bee included Christian schools across Georgia: Unity Christian (Rome), Osby Christian (East Point), Landmark Christian (Peachtree City), and Prince Avenue Christian (Athens).
