Middle School Baseball Team Beats Chamblee
The Middle School baseball team beat a tough Chamblee team by remaining focused and determined. The WolfPack surrendered six runs in the first two innings but then the players’ bats woke up and erupted for 15 runs over the next three innings. Ethan Parker (7th) pitched four strong innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out four as the defense began to settle into its own rhythm. Offensively, the Pack was led by eighth graders Ian Kennedy, Will Thomas (both going 3-for-3, and scoring 3 runs each) and Louis Brogan (2 for 3, 2 runs scored), while seventh graders Chase Watson (2 for 3, 2 runs, 2 RBI) and Connor Ladd (2 for 2, 2 runs, 3 RBI) added key hits to fuel the WolfPack’s comeback. Tayvahr Wright (7th) pitched an effective inning to close out the game, allowing no runs.

For fans willing to brave the chilly temperatures, it was worth the shivers to watch the Middle School girls soccer team earn a 7-0 shutout against Turner Middle School on Friday night, February 26. All players contributed to the winning score with goals scored by Avery Fassnacht, Lindsey Fry, Kyla McCurdy, and Inessa Watson.
