The varsity boys soccer team won their first match of the regular season at home, defeating Holy Innocents 5-3. The Pack out-possessed the ball and fed striker Josh Orr balls which enabled him to score a hat trick (3 goals) in the first half. Holy Innocents scored all three of their goals on set pieces (corner kicks and free kicks) in the first half. The Pack continued to grind it out in the second half and scored the remaining two goals on penalty kicks by William Hellier and Josh Orr. Team Captain Kerry Martin named freshman Simon Sengson "man of the match" for outstanding play at left mid. The boys regroup to play Mt. Pisgah on Friday, February 19, at 7:30 p.m.
