It was a perfect Saturday morning for football on September 19 as the 5th/6th grade WolfPack team played the North Cobb Christian Eagles to an emphatic 18-6 victory.
A stifling defense set the tone early and often. Alex Bauer (6th) provided the play of the game, returning an interception 40 yards for a touchdown in the first half. Juanes Henao (6th) also had an interception, while Cooper Craig (6th) and Ashton Vreeland (6th) provided the exclamation point with drive-stopping quarterback sacks late in the fourth quarter. The offense was efficient throughout the entire game, scoring two touchdowns, including one on their opening drive. Ashton and Caleb LaVallee (5th) provided explosive plays in the running game, while an offensive line playing its best football of the year paved the way.
The Pack will look to build on their momentum as they host Mt. Paran this coming Thursday, September 24. Come out and support your 5th/6th grade WolfPack, as they seek their third win in a row!
