The Class of 2015 kicked off a weekend of graduation festivities with a banquet Thursday evening, May 14. This annual event honors both the parents and the graduates.

180 people were in attendance, including the Upper School faculty Senior advisors and US principal, Jason Van Bemmel.

Kathryn Grace Faulk and Austin Hoover, accompanied by Kaitlyn Johnson (2017), began the event by singing "For Good" from the musical Wicked. The message to their classmates was they have been 'changed for the better - for good' by knowing each other.

After dinner, those gathered in the Lower School Student Activity Center took a stroll down memory lane with a video of photographs prepared by Val Keith. The Seniors also roasted a few faculty members in a light-hearted moment. Jay DeShong paid tribute to Jesse Breite, Peter Keith honored Steve Hellier and Grace Langella voiced her appreciation for Jessica Bonnem.

Lower School principal, Jeannie Brostrand, addressed the class offering encouragement and words of wisdom as they depart from Whitefield. For 12 of these students who were in the inaugural kindergarten class, Mrs. Brostrand was their principal during Lower School.

As the families departed, they were each given a copy of the remembrance video.
