The varsity boys tennis team claimed an easy victory against Lovett recently, maintaining their undefeated status. All three singles players, senior Kyle Childree (#1 singles), senior Matt McGill (#2 single), and freshman Robby Keough (#3 single), won their matches. Tommy Keough (12th) and Bennett Shilling (10th) won their doubles match.
The girls tennis team, on the other hand, had a nail-biter with a final score, 1-4, which didn't reflect the closeness of the competition. Sophomore Kerry Anna Lemasters (#2 singles) clinched the one victory for the girls, but freshman Rachel Hicks (#1 singles) battled through a tough three-set match at singles as did Caroline Holliday and Colleen Cosey at doubles.
Both teams have had an exceptional season, beating Strong Rock, Holy Innocents', Eagle's Landing, Landmark Christian, Our Lady of Mercy, Walker, and First Presbyterian. Go WolfPack!
