Varsity Girls Basketball Team Beats Kings Ridge
Meeting Kings Ridge on our home court on Saturday, December 6, the Lady WolfPack held the opposition to a single digit score until the third quarter. The final score of 62 to 13 brought our win/loss record to 6-2. Laren and Devyn Wilson scored 21 and 18 points, respectively. Carmyn scored 13 points, consisting of three three-pointers and a free throw. Lillian Hill and Devyn led the Pack in rebounds with 12 each. Sydney, Lillian and Samara Huggins contributed points to the win.

Varsity Boys Basketball Team Beats Kings Ridge
On Saturday afternoon the varsity boys basketball team hosted Kings Ridge. The game was neck-in-neck throughout the first half. As a result, by halftime the WolfPack led 19-18. During the second half of the game the WolfPack decided they wanted to win. The team went on a few scoring runs of six points and increased their lead in the game by ten points. In the end the WolfPack won 58-49. Leading the team in scoring for the game was senior Norman Harris with 16 points, while freshman Myles Belyeu had 13 and senior Courtney Alexander had 11. Courtney and Norman led the team in rebounds with eight, while sophomore Isaiah Hart and Courtney both led in assists with five. Leading the team in steals on the night were Myles and Norman with four each.
Next game: On Tuesday, December 9, the varsity boys team will play an away game against Walker at 7 p.m.
JV Boys Basketball Team Win Two Over Weekend
On Friday December 5, Whitefield Academy junior varsity boys basketball team completed a game against Saint Francis. The final score was Whitefield 53 and Saint Francis 47 . Freshman Myles Belyeu led the way with 20 points followed by junior Jordan Greer with 18 points. On Saturday, the team played against Kings Ridge. The final score was Whitefield 60 and Kings Ridge 41. Myles and Jordan led the way by scoring 12 points each.

Middle School Girls Basketball Brings Record to 4-0
The Middle School girls basketball team are 4-0 after two weekend wins against North Cobb Christian (33-17) on Friday and Mt Paran Christian (24-15) on Saturday. Shelby Wingate led the Pack in scoring on Friday with 17 points. Hannah White led Saturday with 11 points. The Pack's 1-2-2 defense implemented by Coach Hines created over 35 steals in Saturday's game, with defensive mayhem led by Shelby (14), Hannah (12), and Emma Dew (7), who also leads the Pack in rebounding, averaging more than 7 per game. The week ahead includes games against the top league competition - hosting Walker on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and traveling to Mt Bethel on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Come cheer on Middle School teams against Walker on Tuesday!

Middle School Blue Team Beats Mounr Paran
The Middle School Blue boys basketball team beat Mt. Paran team on Saturday, December 6. The full and half-court traps contributed to a combined 23 steals on the game. West Peterson led scorers with 17 points, and Julian Munoz followed with 16. The boys came back from being down seven in the second half and turned the game into the best win of the season with a final of 54-51.

Middle School Gold Basketball Team Beats North Cobb Christian
The MS Gold team picked up its first win of the season on Friday afternoon, defeating North Cobb Christian 34-16. Leading by only 5 points at the half, Whitefield broke the game open in the third quarter behind a strong defensive effort. Leading the way were sixth graders Myles Redding (6 points, 4 assists, 4 steals) and Luke Wilson (8 points) and seventh grader Jason Dinschel (9 points, 9 steals).
On Saturday morning the Gold team lost 42-31 in a very competitive game against Mt. Paran. The Pack once against played solid defense but could not consistently put the ball in the basket from the field or the free throw line. Sixth grader Myles Redding (16 points, 4 assists, 4 steals) continued to make big plays on both ends of the court. Seventh graders Jason Dinschel (7 points, 8 steals), Bryce Davis (5 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals) and MJ McCurdy (4 points, 6 steals) also played good all-around games.
