Congratulations to alumna Carson Quiros ('12), who is competing in the Division III Women’s Soccer Championship with her college, Carnegia-Mellon University. The Tartans, appearing for the third consecutive year in the NCAA tournament, finished its regular season with a 14-2 mark overall. They beat Penn State in the first round of the championship, and Catholic University in round two. Quiros was instrumental in the win against Catholic University, flicking a header towards the goal for teammate Megan Bartoshuk to calmly slot a right-footed shot to score the winning goal.
The Tartans have advanced to the Final 16 of the NCAA Championship, and will play Johns Hopkins on Saturday, November 22, at 11 a.m.
